In x86 Solaris 10 it is possible to add hard drive in 2 ways, lets begin with old one.
1. Add new hard drive.
2. Boot server and run :
#drvconfig
#disks
3. Issue :
#format
Output must be a list of all configured drives.
New one:
1. Add new hard drive.
2. Run:
#devfsadm
3. Check results with format command.
Drive is recognized, but it's necessary to make slices and filesystems to use it.
